Here are a few simple guidelines to help keep your shelter in top shape.
- Like all assets, shelters require regular care and attention to give the life and service expected. Regular cleaning with plenty of clean water and a soft brush, especially after exposure to salt water, will preserve your shelter’s life. Do not allow bird droppings, earth or vegetable matter to remain in contact with the fabric. NEVER USE SOAPS OR DETERGENTS.
- To clean your shelter, only ever use a soft sponge and warm water. DO NOT use excess force or other harsh tools to remove soilage from your shelter.
- If you notice dirt, bird droppings or other marks on, the shelter frame or fabric while it is up, clean them off straight away to avoid them setting and becoming hard to remove.
- Wash the frame with fresh water after using your shelter near salt water.
